Welcome to UA Days 2024!
Under the theme “Living Together,” we celebrate the unity of cultures in Luxembourg and the richness of Ukrainian heritage.
Luxembourg, home to nearly 180 nationalities, hosts a thriving Ukrainian community of 5000 since the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Sharing common values with other European nations, Ukrainians enrich Luxembourg’s cultural landscape, fostering cross-cultural exchanges at the UA Days Festival. Come and discover the beauty of Ukrainian traditions, meet new friends, and celebrate the spirit of unity and diversity with us!
Besides presenting high-quality events, our festival has another important goal. Throughout the entire festival, LUkraine is raising funds for the evacuation of people from the Donetsk region.

Jacques Schneider
One of the most famous and high-demand artists, photographers, and painters; the Knight of the Order of Civil and Military Merit of Adolphe de Nassau. He has worked with almost all Luxembourg companies, institutions and celebrities, from Luxlait to Cargolux to the Grand Ducal couple.
Jacques is the most creative ambassador of Luxembourg. He knows very well the importance of cherishing culture and its preservation. Luxembourg, whether its culture, heritage or values, is the artist’s favourite playground.
Meet UA Days 2024 Ambassador!
On June 6 Jacques unveiled the intrigue and together with LUkraine and UA Days in Luxembourg presented the symbol:
“One Mermaid. Two Nations. Same Values.
Одна русалка. Дві країни. Спільні цінності.
D’Melusina. Zwou Natiounen. Di Selwecht Wäerter.”
The unique symbol is accompanied by a text from the perspective of the mermaid herself, a nod to the defensive nature of the creature and its persistent relevance in Ukrainian and Luxembourgish cultures:
“I am proud. I am tender. I am beautiful. I am fearless.
Forever young. With millennia of history upon my shoulders
I will not harm you unless you offend me.
I defend my own world. I fight for what I believe in.”
You can buy this t-shirt in Rotondes 15th of June or in @jacques_schneider store (9 rue Louvigny, 1946 Ville-Haute, Luxembourg).
