Welcome to Ukrainian Days
Esch / Alzette Edition!

UA Days in Esch-sur-Alzette marks the first anniversary of the first Luxembourg-Ukrainian twinning with Stryi (Lviv region, Ukraine). It symbolizes the unity and solidarity of both countries, offering an opportunity to explore and appreciate the richness of Ukrainian culture while fostering cultural exchange between Ukraine and Luxembourg.

The festival is co-hosted by the city of Esch-sur-Alzette.

All the money raised during the events will be donated to LUkraine’s projects.

"War Time Graphics" by The 4th Block association and Art-Territory Ukraine is an exhibition of war posters featuring 25 anti-war posters by contemporary Ukrainian artists.

"A Mother’s Heart: Children Keep All Our Tears" is a performance about the tragedy of mothers whose children are on the front line. The storyline of the performance revolves around a woman's memories of love, birth, childhood, and the anticipation of what may not happen because of the War. The story combines three time dimensions: past, present, and the possible happy future.‌

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to LUkraine projects.

The highly symbolic and emotionally charged photos, presented in several thematic sections, plunge you into the heart of what has turned the world, past and present, upside down.

It is an honour for the Photo-Club Esch to present alongside two photographers from the Photo-Club Esch, four renowned international photographers.
